At Melbourne Metro College (MMC), we understand that moving to a new country
and adjusting to a new academic environment can be both exciting and challenging.
In alignment with Standard 6 of the National Code 2018, MMC is dedicated to
providing comprehensive academic and personal support services to help you
succeed in your studies and enjoy your time in Australia.
Our dedicated Student Support Team is your primary point of contact for any
assistance you may need during your enrolment.

Academic Support Services
If you are experiencing difficulties with your coursework, assignments, or maintaining your academic progress, MMC provides targeted assistance, including:
Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) Support
Individualised support if you need help with English proficiency or foundational skills required for your course.
Academic Counselling & Mentoring
One-on-one sessions with your trainers or Academic Coordinator to help clarify assessment requirements.
Intervention Strategies
If your course progress falls below acceptable levels, our academic team will implement a personalized Intervention Strategy, which may include modified study schedules, catch-up classes, or extra tutorials at no additional cost.

Accommodation Assistance
Guidance on finding safe, affordable housing options or understanding tenancy rights in Victoria.
Settling into Australia
Advice on opening bank accounts, navigating public transport, obtaining an OSHC card, and locating community resources.
Mental Health & Well-being
Initial, confidential counselling for stress, homesickness, or personal difficulties, along with referrals to professional external psychological services if required.

Workplace Rights & Safety
International students have the same workplace rights and protections as everyone else in Australia. MMC is committed to ensuring you are safe from exploitation.
